Prioritization
of major rivers for management (either maintenance or restoration).
Maintenance rankings apply to river segments with habitat quality ratings of
good or very good, while restoration rankings apply to reporting units with
habitat quality of fair or poor. Maintenance rankings are based on local
scale ecological integrity, degree of threats faced, opportunities for
management, and landscape level ecological integrity. Restoration rankings
consider the same components, except for threat rankings, as these units are
already degraded. For many indicators, rankings are based on the range of
